Free Futures Trading Calculators
Six free calculators built for futures prop traders: track your drawdown, plan your profit target, size positions and see what getting funded really costs. No sign-up, no subscriptions, and everything runs in your browser.
Pass your evaluation
Know exactly how much room you have, what profit you still need and what getting funded will really cost.
Plan every trade
Size positions to your risk, check reward against risk and turn ticks into dollars before you click buy.
Calculators are for planning only. Contract specs use standard CME tick values; always confirm your firm's rules and your broker's commissions.
Futures contract specs: tick size and tick value
The values our calculators use for the most traded index, energy and metals futures. Micros are one-tenth the size of the E-mini or standard contract.
Values per one contract, in US dollars. Tick specs are set by the exchange and rarely change; trading hours and margins vary by broker and firm.

Trading calculator FAQ
Are these futures calculators free?
Yes. All six calculators are free, need no sign-up and run entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is saved or sent anywhere.
What is the tick value of ES and NQ?
One ES tick (0.25 points) is worth $12.50, or $50 per point. One NQ tick (0.25 points) is worth $5.00, or $20 per point. The micros, MES and MNQ, are one-tenth of that: $1.25 and $0.50 per tick.
How do I calculate trailing drawdown?
Your loss floor equals your highest balance minus the max drawdown, until it locks at a set level (often your starting balance plus a small buffer). End-of-day trailing only uses closing balances; intraday trailing also counts open profit. Our drawdown calculator works out both.
How many contracts should I trade on a 50K prop account?
Divide the dollars you're willing to lose on one trade by your stop distance in ticks times the tick value. For example, $200 risk with a 16-tick stop on MNQ ($0.50 per tick) allows 25 micros, but your firm's contract limit may be lower, so always check it.
Do these calculators match my prop firm's rules?
They use standard exchange tick values and common prop firm rule types. Each firm sets its own drawdown, consistency and contract limits, so confirm the numbers in your firm's rules or in our firm reviews.
