Frequently asked questions

What is trailing drawdown?

A trailing drawdown is a loss floor that moves up as your account reaches new highs. On a 50K account with $2,000 trailing drawdown, reaching $51,000 moves the floor from $48,000 to $49,000.

When does trailing drawdown stop moving?

Most futures prop firms lock the floor once it reaches your starting balance, often plus $100. After that it behaves like a static drawdown.

What is the difference between EOD and intraday trailing?

EOD trailing only moves at the end of the session based on your closing balance. Intraday trailing moves with your peak equity during the day, including open profit. Read the full guide.
