Topstep Review 2026: Trading Combine, Pricing & Payouts
The original futures prop firm, with a live funded path
Topstep has the longest track record in futures prop trading and a real Live Funded Account stage. Monthly billing means slow evaluations cost more, so budget for more than one month.
Overview
Topstep launched its Trading Combine in 2012 and is the most established futures prop firm. Traders pass the one-step Trading Combine, trade an Express Funded Account (simulated), and may be called up to a Live Funded Account backed by real capital.
Pricing
Standard path: $49 / $99 / $149 per month for 50K / 100K / 150K, plus a $149 activation fee after passing. A No Activation Fee path is available at higher monthly prices.
Trading Rules
- 50K Combine: $3,000 target, $2,000 maximum loss limit, 5 contracts.
- Maximum loss trails at end of day but open losses count intraday.
- 55% best-day consistency target in the Combine.
- Up to 5 active Express Funded Accounts.
Payouts & Profit Split
New traders since January 12, 2026 receive a flat 90/10 split. Express Funded Accounts choose a Standard path (five winning days of $150+) or a Consistency path (three trading days and 40% consistency). Minimum request is $125.
